The same physical server can be used for multiple applications within various logical domains with optimal resource utilization. The underlying hardware availability is increased by using the Split-PCI bus technology that the CMT servers provide and the SFHA component completes the availability by ensuring higher uptime for applications by monitoring the device paths through all I/O domains.
